Angela is in the first year of the MA program in Clinical Psychology. She is from Sudbury, Ontario, and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto. Her MA research will look at resilience and cognitive factors associated with it in undergraduate students through the use of a smartphone app. Her interests in cognition include how beliefs, perceived locus of control, and cognitive flexibility affect resilience and adaptability. She is also interested in personality and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, which she was exposed to while working at the Borderline Personality Disorder Clinic at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
Angela’s graduate studies are supported by funds from the Social Sciences Humanities Research Council Canada Graduate Scholarship.
